SilverBoat is among top 5 wedding photography studios in NSW according to Australian Bridal Industry Academy. In 2010 with impressive 99.43% we came 4th in NSW out of 108 Wedding Photography Studios.
The Annual Bridal Industry Awards are State awards held each year to determine the best wedding suppliers in NSW, VIC, QLD and WA.These awards are determined by past brides who have been through the process of selecting their bridal suppliers and have then rated them on the quality of products, service, value and staff.
To determine the nominees and finalists, the brides were asked to give scores out of 100 for the quality of product, quality of service, value for money and attitude of the staff of those suppliers who serviced the needs of the bride before, during and after her wedding day.
In the last few years we also received numerous prestigious awards in recognition of photographic excellence from the Australian Institute of Professional Photography and the NSW Division of the AIPP. In 2010 Serge was awarded an Associate of AIPP- an impressive result in only just three years of membership.

Wedding photography is subject to trends just as wedding cakes, flowers and wedding dresses are. The most recent trend is away from posed shots and hero shots to more photojournalistic records of weddings.
A more photojournalistic style allows the day to unfold naturally. The photographer does not so much play an active role in posing shots as in capturing moments as they happen.
If this style of wedding photography is the style that appeals to you most it is vital you entrust it to an experienced professional wedding photographer. Amateur photographers or photographers not experienced in this style of event photography often lack the skills to capture the moments in the same way. There is a huge difference between able to pose and shoot photos and being able to spontaneously capture events as they occur.
This style is growing in popularity because it results in more natural, relaxed photography. It often captures the essence of the people and the soul of the moment. Beautiful, candid wedding memories are the result of this type of photography.

There are quite a few Sydney photographers to choose from. So finding the right Sydney based photographer for the job can be an overwhelming task.
When you want to hire a photographer, you must first decide the purpose you need a photographer. Do you want them to shoot a wedding? Do you want them to photograph a corporate event? When you decide the specific job you want to hire a Sydney Photographer, then you can go ahead and start looking for that particular type of photographer who specializes in that niche of photography.
If you want to get a general idea, you can find Sydney based photographers near you by typing in "Sydney photographer". Then if you want to find a specific type of photographer, you can add specific keywords such as "Sydney photographer corporate" or "Sydney wedding photographer".
Another important consideration is cost. How much is your budget?
